Major Taiwanese chipmaker chooses GES Inc. as an equipment service provider

SAN JOSE, Calif., September 30, 2006.  GES, Inc. today announced that a major Taiwanese memory chipmaker has selected GES Inc. as one of its equipment service providers.  GES will deploy a team of equipment engineers from Viet Nam to support the routine equipment preventive maintenance in the chipmaker’s 300 mm FABs in Hsinchu, Taiwan. By taking advantage of the highly skilled low-cost workforce from Viet Nam, the chipmaker will be able to meet their increasing need of equipment engineering resources, reducing operations costs and augmenting resources for their manufacturing expansion plan.
